Did you know that 65% of the surface of the Delta de l’Ebre is rice fields? 

The landscape of the Delta changes four times a year, depending on the rice growing cycle.

      🌾In winter the rice fields are brown like the soil. 

      🌾In spring they are blue because they are filled with water and the sky is reflected in them.

      🌾Later, as spring ends, summer begins and rice grows, they turn green.

      🌾Until the end of September, when its harvested, the rice fields are golden.

Once sown, the cycle begins again.
